On Wednesday, March 23, the Merville Battery Museum hosted the Nogent le Rotrou Civil Security firefighters.
The Military Formations of Civil Security (FORMISC), train every year their future “Sapeurs-Sauveteurs” within a formation called «Formation Générale Initiale» (FGI). This training ends with a 25km walk and a helmet ceremony.
After a visit of the museum accompanied by a volunteer from the Merville – Battery Association, the firefighters were presented with their “Gallet”, the symbol of FORMISC, at 18:00 on the site of the Merville Battery.
