The shop

Info

A souvenir shop is open to visitors at the end of the tour. It stocks many books detailing the events of the landings and the history of the Merville Battery or of certain veterans. A wide range of novels and comic strips will immerse you in the lives of civilians and resistance fighters who lived through the war. Of course, the museum also has books for younger visitors to help them understand the history.

The shop also has timeless souvenirs such as key rings, magnets and mugs, but also more original souvenirs such as baby bodysuits, scarves and a wide range of clothes.

Sluban, which is compatible with Lego, is available in the museum for the delight of young and old alike.

New in 2022:

From now on, D-day parkas or effigies are available. New magnets are also on offer.

This year the museum has a wider selection of products featuring Rosie the Riveter to honour the six million women who worked in the armaments industry and produced war material during the Second World War.

The shop can be visited without a museum ticket.
