On Saturday June 6, 2026, the Merville Battery invites you to participate in the new edition of the March of Heroes, a historical immersion in the footsteps of the paratroopers of the 9th British Battalion.
Departing from the Sainte-Croix church in Gonneville-en-Auge, participants will follow an 8 km route to the Merville Battery, reliving the advance of the men engaged in the assault of June 6, 1944. Throughout the march, dynamic presentations will provide a better understanding of the context, equipment and missions of the British paratroopers.
Accessible from 8 years old (accompanied by an adult), this unique experience combines memory, historical discovery and conviviality.
The single price of €15 also includes a visit to the museum.
